Thomas David

Computer Scientist

Thomas David is a Doctoral Researcher (PhD) in the Aston Lab for Intelligent Collectives Engineering (ALICE). Part of the Systems Analytics Research Institute (SARI) at Aston University.

The ALICE research group combines expertise across various forms of collective & evolutionary computation, including: multi-agent systems, swarm intelligence, genetic programming, self-adaptive, self-organising and self-aware systems.

Thomas' research focuses on Genetic Programming with a specific interest in the self-adaptation of parameters at runtime and hybridised fitness functions. Find out more about Thomas' research interests here.
